Player Profile
2013: Finished the season No. 14 in the FedExCup, with a runner-up finish at the PGA Championship, the best of his seven top-10 finishes.
The 2010 Tampa Bay Championship champion began the final round at the Copperhead Course just one stroke off the lead but was unable to mount a charge Sunday. An even-par 71 resulted in a T7, in the event he lost in a playoff in 2012.
At the Valero Texas Open, played in an event the week before the Masters for the first time in his career. The decision paid off nicely as he holed a wedge from 104 yards on the 72nd hole for an eagle-3 to claim a share of third place with Billy Horschel and Charley Hoffman. With sub-par rounds of 69-70-69-69, he had not recorded four scores under par in a tournament since the 2012 McGladrey Classic. In his only other start in the event, he finished T15 in 1994.
The 2006 and 2007 RBC Canadian Open champion returned north of the border in July, where he posted four rounds of par or better at Glen Abbey GC to finish T9 at the RBC Canadian Open In his 14th consecutive start at the World Golf Championships-Bridgestone Invitational, returned to Firestone CC looking to improve on his 2012 T2 finish. Opened with rounds of 67-69, but got derailed.
